Participant-Directed Account method Clause Samples

The Participant-Directed Account method is a provision that allows individual participants in a retirement or benefit plan to make their own investment choices regarding the assets in their accounts. Under this method, participants can select from a range of investment options provided by the plan, such as mutual funds, stocks, or bonds, and their account balances will reflect the performance of their chosen investments. This clause empowers participants with control over their retirement savings and helps allocate investment risk directly to them, ensuring that outcomes are based on their personal decisions rather than those of a plan administrator.
