Common use of Pay Calculations Clause in Contracts

Pay Calculations. (a) For the purpose of calculating overtime and vacations, an employee who qualifies for payment for a general holiday will be deemed to have worked eight (8) hours if on an eight (8) hour shift schedule or twelve (12) hours if on a twelve (12) hour shift schedule on the general holiday. (b) A holiday allowance for a holiday not worked shall be computed by multiplying by eight (8) [for eight (8) hour shift schedule employees] or by twelve (12) [for twelve (12) hour shift schedule employees] by the minimum hourly wage rate as in Exhibit β€œA” of the employee's regular classification.
