Common use of Pay Date Clause in Contracts

Pay Date. Employees hired after July 1, 2018 will receive their paychecks on the 7th and 22nd of each month. Employees hired before July 1, 2018 may continue to receive their paychecks on the seventh (7th) of each month; provided, however, any employee on a monthly payroll cycle who changes to a bimonthly payroll cycle cannot return to a monthly payroll cycle. If the 7th or the 22nd of the month falls on a weekend or a Monday holiday, the employee will be paid on the preceding Friday.
