Pay for Performing the Duties. of a Higher Classification A. Law enforcement employees assigned as FTO/PTO will be paid at a rate two (2) steps above their base rate of pay for the duration of their FTO/PTO assignment. FTO/PTO assignments cannot be considered the sole criterion for reallocation in accordance with Article 42.2, Position Review. B. Certified instructors assigned to provide training, other than an FTO assignment, will receive an additional five percent (5%) of their base rate of pay for the hours spent providing training. C. Law enforcement employees assigned as the Evidence Officer will be paid at a rate two (2) steps above their base rate of pay for the duration of their Evidence Officer assignment. D. Employees may receive only one premium at a time.
