Common use of Pay in Lieu of Benefits Clause in Contracts

Pay in Lieu of Benefits. (a) Part-time employees regularly scheduled to work less than twenty (20) hours per week shall receive additional compensation equal to ten percent (10%) of their hourly rate. (b) Casual employees shall receive seventy-five cents (75¢) per hour for each hour worked in lieu of benefits, on the first (1st) pay period after ratification.
