Pay Shortage. When you have a shortage equal to ½ a day’s pay or more, the Company must reimburse the shortage within 3 working days. If the Company fails to meet this deadline, the agreed upon remedy is 3 hours of regular pay for every working day the Company fails to fix the pay past the 3 working days.   • Cash Shortages No employee may be required to make up cash register shortages unless he or she is given the privilege of checking the money and daily receipts upon starting and completing the work shift, and unless the employee has exclusive access to the cash register during the work shift and unless cash is balanced daily, except as specified below.
