Common use of Payment by Due Date Clause in Contracts

Payment by Due Date. The Hirer must pay all invoices on the dates indicated and where the Hirer fails to pay all amounts on time, the Council may cancel the Hirer’s booking and this Agreement in which case clause 18.1 will apply as if the Hirer had cancelled the Event. This is based on a genuine pre-estimate of loss to the Council as the Council may not be able to replace the ▇▇▇▇▇’s booking at the same or any other price and all or some of the Services may have already been arranged.
