Payment for Reactive Power Clause Samples
The Payment for Reactive Power clause establishes the terms under which compensation is provided for the supply or management of reactive power within an electrical system. Typically, this clause outlines how payments are calculated, who is responsible for making them, and under what conditions such payments are triggered—such as when a generator provides reactive power support to maintain voltage stability on the grid. Its core function is to ensure that parties contributing to grid reliability through reactive power support are fairly compensated, thereby promoting system stability and clarifying financial responsibilities.
