Common use of Payment in Lieu of Benefits Clause in Contracts

Payment in Lieu of Benefits. a) All employees not transferred to the OSSTF ELHT who received pay in lieu of benefits under a collective agreement in effect as of August 31, 2014, shall continue to receive payment in lieu of benefits. b) New hires after the Participation Date who are eligible for benefits from the OSSTF ELHT are not eligible for pay in lieu of benefits.
