The 'Payment of Ordinary Hours' clause defines the employer's obligation to compensate employees for the standard hours worked, typically as set out in the employment agreement or relevant industrial instrument. Payment of Ordinary Hours. Employees working shifts of 12 ordinary hours will be paid at ordinary rates of pay plus shift and weekend allowances as applicable.
Payment of Ordinary Hours. 2.5.3.1 Each fortnight employees participating in twelve (12) hour night shift arrangements will receive: (a) Payment for seventy-six (76) ordinary hours per fortnight, regardless of the number of ordinary hours such an employee is rostered to work during that fortnight; and (b) Payment for any penalties owed and overtime worked during the preceding fortnight; (c) Less any period of unpaid leave. 2.5.3.2 Where an employee either enters or withdraws from these twelve (12) hour shift arrangements during a four (4) week roster cycle, they may receive an adjustment pay that is either greater or less than that specified in clause 2.5.3.1 above.

(b) Where an employee either enters or withdraws from these 12 hour shift arrangements during a four week roster cycle, they may receive an adjusted pay that is less than that specified in clause 3.3(a) above.

  • Payment of Overtime For the purposes of calculating overtime payments, each day or shift will stand-alone.

  • Reimbursement of Business Expenses The Executive is authorized to incur reasonable expenses in carrying out the Executive’s duties for the Company under this Agreement and shall be entitled to reimbursement for all reasonable business expenses the Executive incurs during the Period of Employment in connection with carrying out the Executive’s duties for the Company, subject to the Company’s expense reimbursement policies and any pre-approval policies in effect from time to time.

  • Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Employees who work overtime will not be required to take time off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off in lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within sixty (60) calendar days."

  • Flexible Working Hours The Employer will, where operational requirements and efficiency of the service permit, authorize experiments with flexible working hours if the Employer is satisfied that an adequate number of Employees have requested and wish to participate in such an experiment.

  • Flexible Hours Upon the request of an employee and the concurrence of the Employer, an employee may work flexible hours on a daily basis so long as the daily hours amount to seven decimal five (7.5).
