Common use of Payments Under Orders Clause in Contracts

Payments Under Orders. i. Contractor shall allow the State and Purchasing Entities to use a procurement card or other credit card to make payments under any Order, in addition to any other payment procedure available to the State or Purchasing Entity. ii. The State shall not pay any amount to Contractor under this Participating Addendum unless the State issues an Order, at which time it shall pay Contractor in accordance with that Order. The State shall not be responsible for payment under any Order that is issued by a Purchasing Entity that is not the State, and the Contractor shall seek no payment or other compensation from the State for any Work performed under any Order issued by a Purchasing Entity that is not the State.

The State shall not be responsible for payment under any Order that is issued by a Purchasing Entity that is not the State, and the Contractor shall seek no payment or other compensation from the State for any Work performed under any Order issued by a Purchasing Entity that is not the State.
