Common use of Payroll Service Clause in Contracts

Payroll Service. In the event an Employer uses a payroll company or other outside person(s), or entity (herein referred to collectively as the “payroll service”) to handle or facilitate the payment of wages or other benefits to or on behalf of an Employee or Employees covered by this Master Agreement, the Employer agrees and acknowledges that it is and remains the Employer of such Employee(s) for the purposes of all the provisions of this Master Agreement, and that the Employer remains liable and responsible for compliance with such provisions.
