PC AND PERIPHERALS PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE. a. CPU: 1) The contractor will be responsible for keeping the computers internals dust free and neat by cleaning the internals with blower and brush. 2) The contractor has to do checking of CD/ DVD drive, USB etc. In case of any defect the contractor has to repair or replace the defective drive. 3) Checking the PC system clock and replace the CMOS battery if required. 4) Contractor has to check the healthiness of HDD. 5) Contractor has to ensure Heat Sink of the Processor and SMPS dust free. 6) Contractor has to check all the connections and rectify if required.
