Per Core Use Basis Clause Samples

The "Per Core Use Basis" clause defines how licensing, fees, or usage rights are determined based on the number of processor cores utilized by the licensee. In practice, this means that costs or permissions are calculated according to each individual core in a server or computing environment, rather than per device or per user. This approach ensures that resource usage is fairly allocated and that parties are charged or permitted access in proportion to their actual computing power, preventing underpayment or overuse beyond the agreed terms.

A Per Core license will allow an unlimited number of Devices to access the services of the Server running the Server Software as long as a Per Core license has been purchased, pursuant to the Transaction Document, License File, or License Certificate, for each core running on the Server.
