Common use of Percentage Interstate Usage Clause in Contracts

Percentage Interstate Usage. For combined interstate and intrastate Utilicore traffic terminated by BellSouth over the same facilities, Utilicore will be required to provide a projected Percentage Interstate Usage (“PIU”) to BellSouth. All jurisdictional report requirements, rules and regulations for Interexchange Carriers specified in BellSouth’s Intrastate Access Services Tariff will apply to Utilicore. After interstate and intrastate traffic percentages have been determined by use of PIU procedures, the PLU factor will be used for application and billing of local interconnection.
