Common use of Perfect Attendance Incentive Clause in Contracts

Perfect Attendance Incentive. A nine (9) month employee who uses no sick leave/personal leave during the period of July 1 – June 30 of any one contract year shall receive a perfect attendance incentive of 4 days at their per diem rate payable in the June 30 paycheck. A twelve (12) month employee who uses no sick leave/personal leave during the period of July 1 – June 30 of any one contract year shall receive a perfect attendance incentive of 5 days at their per diem rate payable in the July 31 paycheck. For twelve (12) month employees vacation or compensatory time will not disqualify the employee from earning this incentive. A nine (9) month employee who does not meet the Perfect Attendance Incentive can still earn an Attendance Incentive as outlined in the chart below payable in the June 30 paycheck. To be eligible for the attendance incentive employees must be hired prior to the end of the first semester. Employees attendance incentive shall be pro-rated based on the number of full quarters worked during the year.
