Common use of Performance Concerns Clause in Contracts

Performance Concerns. The Association recognizes that abuses of temporary leave or other leaves, chronic tardiness or absence, willful deficiencies in professional performance, or other violation of discipline by a teacher reflect adversely upon the other teachers, and/or the teaching profession, and create undesirable conditions in the school building. Such abuse may be brought to the attention of the Association Building Representative. If the abuse is continued, the teacher shall be subject to appropriate discipline.
