Common use of Performance in Accordance with Law Clause in Contracts

Performance in Accordance with Law. Each party agrees to perform its obligations hereunder in accordance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations now or hereafter in effect. Notwithstanding the imposition of liabilities and obligations on the Broker-Dealer and Life Agency acting together as General Agent under this Agreement (if Broker-Dealer and Life Agency are separate persons), nothing herein contained shall be construed to relieve Broker-Dealer of any of its responsibilities or obligations to comply with all applicable federal and state securities laws and regulations in its performance of this Agreement; nor shall anything herein contained be construed to relieve Life Agency of its responsibilities or obligations to comply with all applicable state insurance laws and regulations in its performance of this Agreement.
