Performance Units and Award Cycle Clause Samples

The 'Performance Units and Award Cycle' clause defines how performance-based compensation units are granted and the period over which their achievement is measured. Typically, this clause outlines the criteria for earning performance units, such as meeting specific financial or operational targets, and specifies the start and end dates of the award cycle, which could span one or more years. Its core function is to establish a transparent framework for rewarding employees based on measurable performance over a set timeframe, thereby aligning employee incentives with organizational goals.
