Period of Continuous Service. Period of Notice: 1 year or less 1 week Over 1 year and up to the completion of 3 years 2 weeks Over 3 years and up to the completion of 5 years 3 weeks Over 5 years of completed service 4 weeks In addition, employees over 45 years of age and have completed at least two years continuous service at the time of giving of the notice shall be entitled to an additional one (1) week notice. This provision does not apply should an employee over 45 years of age initiate the termination.
