Common use of Permission Required Clause in Contracts

Permission Required. 6.2.1. The Publisher’s explicit written permission must be obtained in order to: a. use all or any part of the Specified Content for any Commercial Use; b. systematically distribute the whole or any part of the Specified Content to anyone other than Authorised Users; c. publish, distribute or make available the Specified Content, works based on the Specified Content or works which combine them with any other material, other than as permitted in this Agreement; and d. alter, abridge, adapt or modify the Specified Content, except to the extent necessary to make them perceptible on a computer screen to Authorised Users. For the avoidance of doubt, no alteration of the words or their order is permitted. 6.2.2. This clause 6 shall survive the expiration or earlier termination of this Agreement for any reason.
