Common use of Permits and Certificates Clause in Contracts

Permits and Certificates. SUPPLIER shall procure, at its expenses, all necessary permits, certificates and licenses required by virtue of all applicable laws, regulations, ordinances and other rules in effect at the place where any of the work is to be performed, and SUPPLIER further agrees to hold OWNER harmless from liability or penalty which might be imposed by reason of any asserted or established violation or such laws, regulations, ordinances or other rules. OWNER will provide the necessary permits for SUPPLIER's personnel to undertake any work in India in connection with the PURCHASE ORDER.
