Common use of Permitted Copying Clause in Contracts

Permitted Copying. 3.14.1. The Licensee shall have the right to make copies of the Software for the following purposes only, unless otherwise specifically stated in this Licence Agreement: (i) copies for archival or backup purposes; (ii) copies of the Software where, and only to the extent that the right to make such copies is stipulated by mandatory, statutory legislation, and the Licensee shall comply with such legislation in all respects. 3.14.2. The use of the stated copies of the Software is subject to the terms of this Licence Agreement. 3.14.3. The client portion of the Software may be copied onto unlimited number of computers. The number of users accessing the designated server computer is limited to the number of named or concurrent users licensed.
