Personal Interview. Job performance (inclusive of a peer evaluation for first-level supervisory positions when requested by the Sheriff). Each applicant will be considered using the criteria to determine which applicant is best qualified for the required job duties of the position classification. Should the Employer determine that two (2) or more employees are equally qualified to assume the position; the position shall be awarded to the employee with the greatest classification seniority. The Employer shall utilize the promotional list resulting from the application process for subsequent vacancies within the same classification occurring within a period of up to one (1) year, provided that the posting applicable to that application process indicates the Employer’s intent to do so.
