Common use of Personal to Tenant Clause in Contracts

Personal to Tenant. All Options provided to Tenant in this Lease are personal and granted to Siebel Systems, Inc. and any Permitted Transferee and are not exercisable by any third party should Tenant assign or sublet all or a portion of its rights under this Lease, unless Landlord consents to permit exercise of any option by any assignee or subtenant, in Landlord’s sole and absolute discretion. In the event Tenant has multiple options to extend this Lease, a later option to extend the Lease cannot be exercised unless the prior option has been so exercised.
