Physical Appearance. (i) The Artist must advise the Engager at least three (3) months in advance of the first rehearsal of any significant change to the Artist's physical appearance, such as loss or gain of weight, or a physical condition which may significantly affect the Artist's ability to perform the Artist’s services since the signing of the Artist's opera engagement contract, provided that the Engager shall expressly state this requirement by rider in the Artist's engagement contract at time of signing. (ii) As of the first day of engagement, should an Artist make a change to his/her physical appearance without the permission of the Engager that significantly affects the Artist’s costuming/wig/hair design/make- up design without reasonable explanation the Artist will be responsible for all costs to return his/her physical appearance to the satisfaction of the Engager.
