The Physical Distancing clause establishes requirements for maintaining a specified distance between individuals to reduce the risk of disease transmission, typically in the context of public health concerns such as pandemics. It may outline specific measures, such as minimum spacing between workstations, limits on the number of people in a given area, or protocols for common spaces. This clause's core function is to ensure a safer environment by minimizing close contact, thereby helping to prevent the spread of contagious illnesses.

Physical Distancing. 1. The District shall limit occupancy of bathrooms, elevators, locker rooms, staff rooms, offices, warehouses, and conference rooms, and any other shared work or school spaces to provide no less than six (6) feet of distancing. Adjacent bathroom stalls may be used. The District shall post signs with occupancy limits conspicuously at the entrance to each room.
2. Persons on school grounds, including students and staff, will not be allowed to congregate in staff rooms, break rooms, entrances, exits, hallways, or other common areas. At places where students and staff congregate or wait in line, the District shall mark spots on the floor or the walls 6 feet apart to indicate where to stand.
3. Staff and students will not be allowed to congregate on school grounds when outside. Safe distancing of 6 feet will be maintained at all times.

Physical distancing involves maintaining a distance of at least 6 feet from any other person at all times, except when doing so is incompatible with one's job duties (see below). Cast and crew should avoid congregating in groups. When practical, separate work locations into zones to facilitate physical distancing. Visible physical indicators (e.g., cones, duct tape or signage) marking 6 feet of distance should be placed in areas where people must congregate, such as crafts service, eating/meal areas, make-up and costume trailers.

The recommendations in this Exhibit A regarding physical distancing and PPE shall also apply to fully vaccinated employees when working indoors, unless the indoor space utilizes air filters with a MERV-13 rating or higher, or alternatively, the indoor space has implemented CDC recommendations on air filtration in buildings (e.g., use of adequate portable HEPA filters and increased airflow) and the Producer makes best efforts to maximize airflow.
Physical Distancing. Capacity for students and employees in any facility and/or classroom will follow Health and Safety standards dictated by DOH and/or PHSKC. As of the date of the execution of this Agreement, current physical distancing guidance calls for three (3) feet of distancing between students in the classroom, when possible and six (6) feet of distancing in all other school spaces, when possible. The parties agree that the term, “when possible” means that the distancing requirements will be met unless doing so would result in a student not having adequate access to in-person school services.

Maintaining a minimum of 3 feet between student desks/chairs is strongly recommended. Safe distancing within the classroom shall be no less than the of 3 feet apart or other distance recommended by the CDPH. will be maintained at all times. SEIU and the District agree to respect agreements made with SCTA in this matter of distancing for the purpose of having consistency in interpretation and application.
Physical Distancing. The District follows DOH and PHSKC guidelines regarding physical distancing and will update protocols as guidance changes. In alignment with guidance at the time of MOU drafting, the District will:
Physical Distancing. All individuals are expected to practice physical distancing while on-site. Common areas where shared refrigerators, coffee makers, and microwaves are located have been closed to reduce the risk for indirect person to person contact. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ meeting rooms, common areas, breakrooms, locker rooms, etc. have been modified to help everyone maintain a six-foot distance from one another. In addition, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ has removed tables and chairs, added floor markings, limited the number of people in specific areas, added physical barriers where practical, and posted reminder postings throughout each Facility. Where close proximity is a necessity, individuals must follow ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ protocols to ensure risks are minimized as those tasks are completed.
Physical Distancing a. All holding areas will be adequate to accommodate six-foot spacing of seating front to back and side to side with adequate ventilation appropriate to the weather. b. Physical space between cast and crew members should be a minimum of six feet, except for legitimate pairs (e.g., household members, domestic partners, roommates, those living together for a minimum of 14 days prior to the shoot). Crew members should refrain from being near cast, unless they are part of the Hair, Make Up, Sound, or Wardrobe Departments.
c. All personnel in trailers (Hair, Make Up, etc.) should be stationed six feet apart. d. Consider dividing the lunch hour to avoid a greater number of people in the catering area. Six-foot spacing should be maintained at all times unless impermeable (e.g., plexiglass) barriers can be erected separating individuals. Such barriers should be cleaned after each setting.
e. Avoid physical contact (e.g., shaking hands, hugs, fist/elbow bumps), except for legitimate pairs (e.g., household members, domestic partners, roommates, those living together for a minimum of 14 days prior to the shoot)..
