Placing Material in the Permanent File. 1. No material may become a part of a faculty members’ record until the faculty member has been sent a copy of the material to their last known address, or has been personally delivered a copy of the same. The faculty member shall acknowledge receipt of it. 2. Materials of a negative nature may be placed in the file by the appropriate supervisor whose name shall be noted on the material. 3. Materials of a negative nature or adverse material placed in a faculty member’s file may be responded to, in writing, within ten (10) working days of the material being placed in the file. Such written responses will be placed in the faculty member’s file.
