Common use of Planning and Scheduling Clause in Contracts

Planning and Scheduling. Prepare a preliminary master time Project Schedule, following consultation with the Project Team, for the Owner’s approval incorporating the sequence and timing of the required basic program decisions, including design time, documentation, bid calls, bid evaluations, prime contract awards, long lead items, shop drawings preparation and review, manufactured items and deliveries and on-site construction activities and taking account of the construction activities for other Components that will affect the Project Schedule. 2.2.1 Monitor, revise and update the Project Schedule against the original baseline as the design proceeds. 2.2.2 Finalize the Project Schedule following consultation with the Project Team for the Owner’s approval. 2.2.3 Pass on to the General Contractors recommendations from Consultants with respect to any equipment or materials which should be pre-ordered to meet the Project Schedule.
