Plans, Specifications & Cost Estimates Clause Samples

The "Plans, Specifications & Cost Estimates" clause defines the requirements for preparing, submitting, and approving detailed project plans, technical specifications, and associated cost estimates. Typically, this clause outlines the responsibilities of the parties involved in developing accurate and comprehensive documents that describe the scope, materials, methods, and anticipated expenses of the work. For example, it may require the contractor to provide detailed blueprints and itemized budgets for review before construction begins. The core function of this clause is to ensure all parties have a clear, agreed-upon understanding of the project's technical and financial parameters, thereby minimizing misunderstandings and disputes during execution.
