Common use of PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING Clause in Contracts

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING.  This contract is a financially binding commitment to a space in University housing for the entire 2017-2018 academic year, or for such time as the student is enrolled.  Housing Charges for the full 2017-2018 Academic Year are below: Room Style 2017-2018 Room Rate 2017-2018 Full Meal Plan 2017-2018 Total Housing and Meal Plan Traditional Triple Spaces $4,700 $3660* $8,360 Traditional Double Spaces $5,200 $3,660* $8,860 Traditional Single Spaces $7,100 $3,660* $10,760 Suite Double Spaces $5,500 $3,660* $9,160 Suite Single Spaces $7,400 $3,660* $11,060 House Apartment Double Spaces $5,850 * $5,850 House Apartment Single Spaces $7,930 * $7,930 Blackstone Double Spaces $6,000 * $6,000 Blackstone Single Spaces $8,250 * $8,250 * Meal Plan price reflects one of the “full meal plans”. Students in apartment-style housing can add optional meal plans but are not required to enroll.  Students living in “Traditional Lifestyle” or “Suite Lifestyle” housing are required to be on a full meal plan. Students who live in “Apartment Lifestyle” housing (where they have access to kitchen facilities shared only by a small population of students) may choose from any undergraduate meal plan or choose to not have any version of a meal plan.  Students who change from “Traditional Lifestyle” or “Suite Lifestyle” housing to “Apartment Style” after the first four weeks of the semester will be required to keep their full meal plan for the remainder of the semester.  Students are required to live on campus for four semesters. Students who reach junior status or complete their four semester requirement mid-year remain bound to the contact as it is a full year agreement.  Students may cancel or suspend their Housing Contracts for the following reasons for the fees indicated below.
