Common use of Pledge and Collateral Assignment Clause in Contracts

Pledge and Collateral Assignment. As collateral security for the prompt and complete payment, performance and observance of all present and future Secured Obligations, the Pledgor hereby pledges and collaterally assigns to the Collateral Agent for the benefit of the Secured Parties, and grants to the Collateral Agent for the benefit of the Secured Parties, a lien on and security interest in the collateral of the Pledgor described in Section 2 (collectively, the “Pledged Collateral”).

Pledge and Collateral Assignment.
