Common use of Plugging and Abandonment Clause in Contracts

Plugging and Abandonment. As described in Section 1.9 of Exhibit B, LINN (i) shall obtain necessary non-operating working interest owner approval and regulatory permits to abandon any ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ included in the Operated ▇▇▇▇▇ Properties when required under Applicable Law to be abandoned during the Transition Period, (ii) shall provide supervision for abandonment operations of such ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ during the Transition Period, and (iii) shall file all necessary abandonment reports after completion of such operations. For the avoidance of doubt, all proposed abandonments must be approved by ▇▇▇▇▇ prior to permitting or commencement of actual abandonment operations unless such abandonments are described in Schedule 9.
