Position Requirements. To maintain resource nurse status, the nurse must: a. Work at least 352 hours each fiscal year and at least 24 hours per four- week work schedule, provided work is available and the resource nurse is needed. Hours spent completing mandatory education requirements are not included in these hourly minimums. Any shift worked at the request of the Employer shall count toward meeting the minimum hourly obligation for the month or the year. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ worked at the request of the Employer are defined as (1) unfilled shifts to which the resource nurse is assigned prior to the posting of the schedule; or (2) shifts worked at the Employer’s request during the posted work cycle.
