The agreement has been settled between the Secretary for Ministry of Education and the NZEI New Zealand Educational Institute Te Riu Roa (NZEI).) and shall be subject to ratification by NZEI members pursuant to section 51 of the Employment Relations Act 2000. From 1 January 2018 the sick leave entitlement for the Kindergarten Teacherskindergarten teachers, Head Teachers head teachers and Senior Teachers’ Collective Agreement (KTCA) 2013- 2016senior teachers shall be nine days per annum, between the Secretary for Education and the NZEI Te Riu Roa (NZEI)as outlined in clause 4.3.
