Posting of Seniority List. 1. The seniority list shall be posted annually by February 2 of each work year. The Superintendent shall prepare and post on the designated bulletin board in each building a seniority list. Said list shall be provided to the Union president on or before the date of posting. 2. All teachers will be placed on a seniority list for each teaching field for which they are properly certificated/licensed. Teachers serving under continuing contracts will be placed at the top of the list, in descending order of seniority. Teachers serving under limited contracts will be placed on the list below continuing contract teachers, also in descending order of seniority. 3. The names of members who are certified, licensed, or otherwise qualified in more than one (1) area shall be included on the listing for all areas of certification, license, or entry-level requirement. Seniority lists will be based upon the teaching certificates/licenses on file in the Office of the Superintendent as of January 31 in each calendar year in which a reduction in force is implemented. 4. The names of part-time members shall appear on the seniority list but shall be listed separately from the names of full-time members. 5. Each member shall have a period of fifteen (15) business days after posting of the seniority list in which to advise the Board or its agents in writing of any inaccuracies which affect his/her seniority. The Board or its agents shall investigate all reported inaccuracies and make such adjustments as may be in order and post the updated list immediately. (No protest shall be considered after fifteen (15) business days of the posting of the seniority list and the list shall be considered as final until the next posting.)
