Posting Requirement. The opening for the additional section shall be required to be posted throughout the District for a period of at least five (5) workdays in order to allow all qualified employees the opportunity to apply. Other than this posting requirement, the provisions of Article IV, Section 10 (Assignment, Vacancies, Promotions and Transfer) shall not apply, and the District shall have the discretion to determine the employee who will be assigned the additional section, provided that said assignment shall be strictly voluntary.
