Common use of Power to Access Digital Assets Clause in Contracts

Power to Access Digital Assets. I give my Agent the Power to take any actions necessary to access, manage, maintain and update any Digital Assets which I may own or to which I otherwise possess rights, including without limitation, electronic banking accounts, electronic investment accounts, debt management accounts, automatic bill payment directives, social media accounts, and any account or record of mine stored in electronic or digital form that is governed by a terms-of- services agreement (including any such accounts associated with my Apple ID), as necessary or desirable in order to effectively conduct my person and financial affairs, to discharge any and all obligations I may owe and to maintain my public reputation. This Power shall include the power to access and change any of my passwords or other electronic profile data from applicable electronic record host entities, to open and close accounts, to transfer information and property, and to delete information. The Powers herein include without limitation the power to hire computer and other technical experts to assist my Agent to do whatever is necessary to gain control over an electronic record and the property and information therein.
