Common use of Pre-Construction Quantity Verification Clause in Contracts

Pre-Construction Quantity Verification. Consultant will review final construction documents to familiarize staff with the project drawings, specifications, permit requirements, and other pertinent documents. Consultant will utilize design files provided by the PDB team to perform an independent quantity verification upon receipt of 100% conformed construction documents. Consultant will perform quantity take-offs for project work items that correlate to the line items and quantities included in the fee breakdown. Consultant will coordinate with the EOR to reconcile quantity discrepancies and will submit a memo to the City documenting the findings of the quantity verification. Consultant will work with PDB team to develop and approve a lump sum schedule of values (LS SOV) to be used to process pay estimates.
