Common use of PRECEDENCE CLAUSE Clause in Contracts

PRECEDENCE CLAUSE. No new non-certificated employees in positions covered by this Agreement will be hired by the District to fill vacant positions if there are qualified bargaining unit members on the recall list for the classification of the vacant position, unless or until all qualified bargaining unit members in that classification on the recall list have either been recalled or have rejected reinstatement in such positions consistent with (E), "Reinstatement," above.
