PREFACE. This Agreement entered into this first day of July, 2017, by and between the Novi Com- munity School District, hereinafter referred to as the District, the Board, or the Employer, and the Novi Educational Support Personnel Association, affiliated with the Michigan and National Education Associations, hereinafter referred to as the Association. The signatories shall be the only parties to this Agreement. The parties acknowledge that each had the unlimited right and opportunity to make de- mands and proposals with respect to any subject or matter not removed by law from the area of collective bargaining. The understandings and agreements arrived at are set forth in this Agreement. Therefore, the parties for the life of this Agreement, agree that neither shall be obligated to bargain any subject or matter not specifically addressed in this Agreement. However, the parties may mutually agree to discuss any matter during the life of this Agreement. This Agreement shall constitute the full and complete commitments between the parties. It may be altered or modified through written mutual consent of the parties. This Agreement shall supersede any rules, regulations or practices of the Board which shall be contrary to or inconsistent with its terms. The provisions of this Agreement shall be incorporated into and considered part of the established policies of the Board.
