Common use of Preferred subcontractors Clause in Contracts

Preferred subcontractors. No part of this Contract may be subcontracted unless with written approval from the Employer. the Employer shall be under no obligation to grant such approval. Should any part of this Contract be subcontracted, the Contractor will be responsible for all Works (or failure to affect the Works) as if it were done so by the Contractor. The Contractor may not subcontract more than 20% of the Works.
