Preliminary Cost Estimates. 2.1.5.1 When the City has sufficiently identified the Project requirements and the Designer has prepared other basic design criteria, the Construction Manager shall prepare, for the review of the Designer and approval of the City, a preliminary c o s t estimate utilizing area, volume or similar conceptual estimating techniques. 2.1.5.2 When schematic design documents have been prepared by the Designer and approved by the City, the Construction Manager shall prepare, for the review of the Designer and approval of the City a more detailed estimate with supporting data.
