Common use of PRELIMINARY DESIGN DRAWINGS Clause in Contracts

PRELIMINARY DESIGN DRAWINGS. The service provider should prepare and submit preliminary design drawings for the entire scope of works with sufficient details to enable evaluation. This information is critical in the award of the contract as this will be the basis for the design development should the offer be acceptable. All design assumptions and calculations should be included herein. Tenderer is to submit preliminary design, layout plans, Erf connections details, over head line (MV and LV), meter and etc. with detail materials specifications along with TENDER justifying each parameters. PRELIMINARY DESIGN DRAWINGS Should there be no preliminary design drawings, mark the above “NIL”.
