Common use of PRELIMINARY DISCUSSION Clause in Contracts

PRELIMINARY DISCUSSION. Should any employee have a concern which the employee feels could be a grievance, the employee shall be expected to first discuss the matter with the employee’s immediate supervisor, to provide opportunity for clarification and/or appropriate adjustment, consistent with the terms of this Agreement. The employee shall have the option of being accompanied by a Union representative if the employee feels that it is necessary.
