PRELIMINARY SUBMITTAL Clause Samples

The Preliminary Submittal clause requires a party, typically the contractor or supplier, to provide initial documents, plans, or samples for review before the main work or production begins. This may include submitting design drawings, material samples, or technical data to the other party or project owner for approval or feedback. By mandating this early review process, the clause helps ensure that all parties are aligned on expectations and requirements, reducing the risk of costly errors or rework later in the project.
