PREMIUM TAX Clause Samples
The Premium Tax clause defines the responsibility for paying any taxes, duties, or levies imposed on insurance premiums under the contract. Typically, this clause specifies whether the insurer or the insured is liable for such taxes, and may outline the process for remitting payment to the relevant tax authorities. By clearly allocating responsibility for premium-related taxes, the clause helps prevent disputes and ensures compliance with applicable tax laws.
PREMIUM TAX. The Reinsurer will not reimburse the Ceding Company for premium taxes.
PREMIUM TAX. State and local government premium tax, if applicable, will be deducted from Purchase Payments or Contract Value when incurred by LNY or at another time of LNY's choosing.

PREMIUM TAX. There will be no separate reimbursement of premium tax.
PREMIUM TAX. We pay any applicable Premium Tax when it is due. We will deduct the amount of any applicable Premium Tax from the Individual Account value no earlier than when there is a tax liability. We reserve the right to deduct any Premium Tax due before a Contribution is allocated to an Individual Account.
PREMIUM TAX. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, §297I.15, subd. 4, the MCO shall be taxed on the premiums paid by the STATE under the Medical Assistance program. If the MCO is exempt or is no longer required to pay the premium tax, the MCO’s base rate will be adjusted to reflect that change.
