Common use of Preparatory Work Clause in Contracts

Preparatory Work. Where installation/assembly is part of the services and in the event that the foundation or job site is not suitable or ready for assembly to begin on the scheduled day, a Delay of Order notification must be sent to Company at least 4 working days prior, in order to allow Company to reschedule the project. In the event that Company is not notified and incurs an expense in attempting to execute the assembly, a re-mobilization charge may be charged to Purchaser before Company will reschedule the assembly.
