Prescribed Public Holidays Sample Clauses
Prescribed Public Holidays. An Employee shall be entitled to public holidays without loss of pay on the following days or if required to work shall be paid for such work in accordance with the provisions of this clause:
Prescribed Public Holidays. An employee (other than a casual) shall be entitled to holidays on the following days:
27.1.1 New Year's Day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day; and
27.1.2 The following days, as prescribed in the relevant States, Territories and localities: Australia Day, Anzac Day, Queen's Birthday and Eight Hours' Day or Labour Day.
27.1.3 When Christmas Day is a Saturday or a Sunday, a holiday in lieu thereof shall be observed on 27
Prescribed Public Holidays. (a) Employees will be entitled to the following holidays without loss of pay: New Year’s Day Australia Day Good Friday Easter Monday Anzac Day Labour Day WA Day Sovereign’s Birthday Christmas Day Boxing Day
(b) Additional or substituted public holidays proclaimed under Section 7 of the Public and Bank Holidays Act 1972 (WA) will be observed as public holidays under this Agreement in accordance with the proclamation.
Prescribed Public Holidays. (a) Employees shall be entitled to holidays on the following declared or proclaimed days - New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Australia Day, Anzac Day, Queens' Birthday, Eight Hours Day or Labour Day; and Melbourne Cup Day or in lieu of Melbourne Cup Day some other day as determined in a particular locality.
Prescribed Public Holidays. (a) New Year’s Day, Australia Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Anzac Day, Labour Day, Foundation Day, Sovereign’s Birthday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day shall be paid public holidays.
(b) Any additional public holidays proclaimed under Section 7 of the Public and Bank Holidays Act, 1972 (WA) shall be observed as public holidays.
Prescribed Public Holidays. 20.1.1 Subject to the terms of this Agreement each Full-Time employee will be entitled, without loss of ordinary pay, to Public Holidays as follows:- • New Year’s Day • Show Day (Brisbane) • Australia Day • Labour Day • Good Friday • Queen’s Birthday • Easter Saturday • Easter Monday • Anzac Day • Boxing Day • Christmas Day or other such day as is generally observed in the locality to which this Agreement applies as a substitute for any of the above days.
20.1.2 For the purpose of this Agreement
a) When Christmas Day is a Saturday or on a Sunday, a holiday in lieu thereof shall be observed on 27
Prescribed Public Holidays. All work done by any employee on: - the 1st January; - the 26th January; - Good Friday; - Easter Saturday (the day after Good Friday); - Easter Monday; - the 25th April (Anzac Day); - The Birthday of the Sovereign; - Christmas Day; - Boxing Day; or - any day appointed under the Holidays Act 1983, to be kept in place of any such holiday will be paid for at the rate of double time and a-half with a minimum of 4 hours.

Prescribed Public Holidays. (a) The following days are prescribed public holidays for the purposes of this Agreement:
(i) New Year’s Day;
(ii) Australia Day;

(vii) Queen’s Birthday;
(viii) Labor Day;
(ix) Melbourne Cup Day;
(x) Christmas Day; and
(xi) Boxing Day.
Prescribed Public Holidays. 19.1.1 An employee on weekly employment shall be entitled, without loss of ordinary pay, to public holidays as follows: • New Year’s Day • Australia Day • Labour Day • Good Friday • Easter Saturday • Easter Monday • Anzac Day • Queen’s Birthday • Christmas Day • Boxing Day • Picnic Day (usually the Tuesday following Easter Monday) • Additional Holiday (1st Monday in December) or such other gazetted day as is generally observed in the locality to which This Agreement applies as a substitute for any of the above days.
19.1.2 For the purpose of This Agreement
(a) When Christmas Day is a Saturday or on a Sunday, a holiday in lieu thereof shall be observed on 27 December.
(b) When Boxing Day is a Saturday or Sunday, a holiday in lieu thereof shall be observed on 28
