Probation and Termination. year Presidents' Scholar whose cumulative Maricopa GPA, including ALL credits, falls below 3.25 but above 3.0 at the end of the first semester will be placed on probation. The student must raise the cumulative Maricopa GPA to 3.25 prior to beginning the third semester. Failure to do so will result in the loss of the scholarship. Incoming Presidents' Scholars with a cumulative Maricopa GPA, including ALL credits, falling below 3.0 at the end of the first semester will lose their scholarship, which cannot be reinstated.
